The Challenge

From the start, Nelonen Media has been a challenger in the Finnish commercial TV-sector. With four free-to-air TV-channels and web-TV, Nelonen’s aim has been to be the king of commercial TV in Finland and in people’s hearts.

Our Role

dynamo&son is proud to be Nelonen Media’s trusted partner, working daily with the three main TV-channels and the web-TV channel, Ruutu. Our long partnership ranges from strategic planning to bringing all the marketing activities together.

Our role becomes especially crucial in the launch of new shows and programs and our goal is to see each one of them succeed. As our partnership with Nelonen Media continues, so does our goal for both of us: ratings up!

The Result

Nelonen Media can finally claim to be the biggest commercial TV-channel in Finland amongst the most desired target group of 10-44 olds. The focus on quality domestic entertainment, clear brand strategies and persistent marketing efforts have helped all of Nelonen’s channels to grow and blossom. As of summer 2016, Nelonen Media was the clear market leader with a market share of 36.5% of 10-44 year-olds.
